Brunch at Burnt Orange in Mosman, Sydney 

I found these photos as I was going through my Camera Roll and realised I hadn’t written a blog post on my favourite Sydney brunch spot for visitors – Burnt Orange! The brunches are pretty good – not the BEST I’ve ever had (oh that makes me sound like a brunch snob I know, but I have had a LOT of brunches in my life…) – but the venue is just beautiful. 

Burnt Orange is inside an old, heritage listed building with most of the seating on verandah with stunning water views. 

Menu items include the Breakfast Board (which I order every single time!), Alaskan Crab Eggs Benedict (which my boyfriend orders nearly every single time!) and traditional items eggs and bacon or porridge. There are also delicious sweet treats like banana bread with whipped cream to share for dessert. (Because who says you can’t have dessert after brunch?!).




We have taken all of our special overseas and interstate visitors here because it represents what Sydney means to me. Beautiful water views, lush greenery, quiet surroundings, gorgeous heritage buildings (because how many of those can you find in HK?!), fresh produce and good coffee. The service is also pretty great. You have to book online for a seating which means you get your meal pretty quickly. This also means you have to clear out by an hour and a half but you can always extend your morning with a walk in the surrounding area.



Ah I love Burnt Orange! Can’t wait to go back again.
